Alpha Courses

For those who wish to find out more about the Christian faith, we run the very popular Alpha course.  As part of the national Alpha initiative we have run 8 courses with nearly 100 people attending.

Our next Alpha course is expected to start in October 2009.  It runs one evening a week.  There is often also a single Saturday away.  Each evening begins at 7 pm with a shared meal and will finish by 9.45 pm.

We watch a talk on video and the issues raised are then discussed in a small group, no question is ‘off limits’ so whether you know nothing about the Christian faith or just want to ‘brush up’ on the basics, Alpha is ideal for you.

Who is Jesus?

Why and how do I pray?

The Holy Spirit

Does God heal today?

Alpha is a practical introduction the Christian faith and is suitable for everyone. It’s informal, it’s free and it’s fun.
