Treasure Hunts are organised annually in aid of Manor Light Opera. The idea is to follow a set route around the chosen locality and find the answers to mildly cryptic clues given in route order. There is a time limit (about 1 hour 45 minutes) with penalty points for exceeding it, but no bonus points for being under it. Questions are set by Paul & Simon Huggins.
The route starts from and returns to a local tavern and usually includes an optional half-way break at this or another pub.

Start between 6:45 and 7:30pm
Tube: Russell Square, Chancery Lane or Holborn
Parking: unrestricted after 6:30pm on yellow lines and meters. (Do NOT park in residents' parking bays.)
The area is inside the congestion charging zone.
The treasure hunt will take about two hours around this fascinating area. Admission £5 per person - children half price. (The proceeds are for prizes and operatic funds.)
To enter - just turn up. Teams of two to four persons can be organised. Remember to bring a pen and stiff backing for your question paper.
