The radiators on the VFR are unpainted aluminium and show up badly through the large vent holes in the faring. Most colours of VFR will benefit on a colour that blends better with the rest of the bike.
My bike is a beautiful stealth black but the radiators show up like a sore thumb.
After removing the lower fairing panels, mask around the radiators to collect the over spray and also place some paper behind the radiator to stop the paint reaching the engine. Clean the rads thoroughly and blow through with an air line to make sure that they are clean and dry.
Spray with several light coats of heat resistant paint from various angles to achieve a uniform coat.
Once the paint is thoroughly dried, re-fit the plastic protective covers and the fairing panels.
That concludes the Stealth Black effect..Nice!
