Neighbourhood Panel Meeting ~ 28th January

Call Centre and Alcohol Licensing

Would you like to know when police are deployed after your call to report an incident or how shops are able to obtain an alcohol licence? Come along and listen to the presentations and ask all those burning questions. (Subject to operational commitments)

Also Are you fed up with anti social behaviour etc? Come along and let your views be known. You can influence how we police the area that you live in.

Do come and support the meeting. Your Stoughton neighbourhood team look forward to welcoming you.

Consultation for Woodbridge Hill Environmental Improvements

There is a public consultation running until the 9th January relating to an Environmental Improvement for the Woodbridge Hill retail area.  Please visit the GBC web-site where you can complete an on-line survey.  All comments should be directed to the Projects and Conservation Team, Guildford Borough Council envprojects@guildford.gov.uk

Consultation for Grange Road

The deadline for all comments on the Grange Road Survey has been extended to Friday 9th January.  If you have not done so already, please respond and tell the council what you think of the options and what you think should be done.

Tangley Place

Good news.  The developers lost their planning appeal for a carehome in the green belt.  Whilst the Council, Natural England and some residents agree that a carehome is more appropriate than offices or residential use next to Whitmoor Common SPA, the planning inspector upheld the council and residents view that the design is inappropriate.  Back to the drawing board!
