There will be staffed stations along the route with photographs of that area in times gone by.  Choose the walk to suit your fitness level.  The shortest of the three walks is wheelchair and pushchair friendly and ideal for families – with a spot-it chart for children.  Those who register in advance for the walks will all receive a goody bag.  The walks take in Emmanuel Church where there will be an opportunity to see the Flower Festival.  Walkers leave Northmead Junior School between 10.30am and 1pm. Routes maps provided with historic details of the area.  Bacon Butties and Sausage Sarnies available from 10.30am to 12 noon.

Exhibition

In the Northmead School Hall there will be an opportunity to see an exhibition of rare photographs of old Stoughton – take a trip down memory lane over a cup of tea!

Tea Party for Seniors 3pm to 5pm

There will be a free afternoon cream-tea at Emmanuel Church Vicarage for senior residents in the policing area of Stoughton.  See the Flower Festival and a display of old photographs of Stoughton with musical entertainment.  Call 01483 561603 for details and ask for John or Aretia.  Transport can be arranged which is suitable for wheelchairs.
