Site Allocations

You may have heard or read about the Borough Council's Site Allocations process, whereby residents are being asked to comment about the proposed use of a many sites in the borough.  You have until Weds 30th January to comment.

The Council have only posted details to homes within a few hundred meters of affected locations, which means that only a small percentage of all residents have received details.  Therefore we are sending out this email.  Please forward this email to your neighbours and friends.

You may submit your comments using the GBC online response form.

There are a number of sites that may be of concern to you, listed on the SCA web-site, however the ones that are most likely to be of interest are the 5 that GBC have identified as possibilities for a new park and ride - see below.

Our web site lists SCA's concerns but we are also interested in hearing your feedback.

» Park and Ride

GBC have identified 5 possibilities for park and ride in their site allocations:

  • The Horse Field (off Salt Box Road, opposite Grange Rd)

  • The Donkey Field (off Perry Hill, Worplesdon Road)

  • Keens Lane

  • Liddington Hall (off Aldershot Road)

  • Tangley Place Farm (behind Tangley Place)

» Burglaries

Andy Coumbe is Stoughton's Community Safety Warden.  If you want to join his mailing list please contact him on andy.coumbe@guildford.gov.uk.

Each Christmas he gives out advice on how to avoid being burgled.  I know there has been the usual spate of post-Christmas burglaries, so I'm sorry if this has reached you too late.
