SGP Newsletter December 2006

Dear resident,

I am forwarding this on behalf of the Safer Guildford Partnership’s Stoughton team of PCSO Sheila Willis, PC Steve Cake and Andy Coumbe.

Please find attached SGP’s Stoughton newsletter and some advice for Christmas.  Apologies if you have already received these.

In the newsletter, there is mention of a new youth club created and currently run by SGP at the TA Centre in QE Park.

The club is aimed at the 10 to 14 age group, who have named it the “Stoughton Massive”.

The NEXT club is Weds 20th December at the TA Centre 6:30 to 8:30 pm.  Entrance charge is £1.

Hydestile Wildlife Hospital is coming to talk for about an hour, and they are bringing birds and some animals.

In the New Year, dates for the youth club are Weds 10th and Weds 24th January, and fortnightly from then on.

SGP are looking for help:

-          Any persons to help at the club so we can get a rota going.

-          Any persons to help organise and take over running of the club with SGP in a supportive role.

-          Any persons with any skill or knowledge to pass on e.g. crafts, or art, car mechanics, etc.   Because there are no storage facilities, activities need to be well organised and capable of being easily cleared away and stored elsewhere.

-          Ideally helpers should already have a Youth CRB Check, but if not this will be organised.

To get involved or help even for just one evening, please reply to this mail or contact PCSO Sheila Willis directly willis10641@surrey.pnn.police.uk or phone her on 07967 986569.  If you know someone professionally or who can otherwise help, please pas this email on.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from SGP and SCA
