This area of the Old Sandbachian's Association Web Site is designed to keep members and other Old Boys up to date with events and matters of interest to the school.

Old Boys will be glad to hear of the success of the lobbying of Charles Clarke, Secretary of State for Education, over the future funding of the school. A full report will be in the June 2003 Newsletter.  The Minister directed that a new contract between the county and the school should be drawn up to last until 2040.  Thus the unique relationship between the school and its community has been sustained and strengthened.

The School Governors and OSA Committee would like to thank those Old Boys who took the time to send letters to the Minister on this matter. 

Remember the Sandbachian Magazine during your days at school? Recent editions have been highly praised for it's content and professionalism. The full colour magazine can be purchased at a cost of just £5.00 if you wish to collect a copy at the Annual Dinner. Copies can be posted, with the appropriate P&P. Very little feed back on the site has been received - is there anything you want to see here? 
One suggestion is for a Mentoring service, where Old Boys with established careers, offer advice to younger-Old Boys just starting out, or considering that path, by emailing the Mentor(s) published on the site. If this appeals to you, or you wish to comment, please email Andy Stone.
