George had 2 chub of 1-8 each Rob had about 20 small roach and chub everyone else blank.

Upon arrival half of Ash lake was frozen so an extra section had to be put on willow. There were blanks galore on both lakes- in fact 2 whole sections on ash blanked! It seemed the fish were shoaled up an only a few anglers had a reasonable day. Top weight was around 27lb .

The venue was fishing well the previous week but a frost made it hard going with only small perch being caught.

It was a cold, wet and windy day. Rob was on peg 2 (near the steps) and caught 1 carp and some roach. Gary was next to the willow and also had a carp plus a nice rudd and some roach. John had an all roach net from peg 3 by the rushes. The rain on the day before had filled the lake to the top and turned the water a 'chocolate' brown colour and this may have contributed to the low weights.

Jamie fished for them but lost 2. The weather was cold and windy, blowing towards car park end.

Rob Shearing had 2 bream on feeder mid river, Colin had a 1-9 chub and 2 sprats , Jamie had 2 chub . The river was very clear but the weather was mild.

Rob Shearing beat Paul in the Knockout and Pete Milano beat Richard. The final is at Cow Roast.

Dreadful weather with wind and rain all day but the lake fished very well. John fished with pellet shallow in peg 1 for a good bag of carp.

The venue is adjacent to Ardleigh reservoir and has a good head of bream. Unfortunately they didn't show in any numbers on the day Collier Row AC fished there! Paul had 2, Rob Shearing, Les, Pete and Rob Smith had 1 each and a few bits.

Rob Shearing managed to land a sea gull weighing around 2 lb but it flew out of his keep net! The venue is fairly shallow but has trees all the way round the lake. The weather was warm and sunny after a foggy drive down the A12.

This is the first time Collier Row have been to this venue so no one knew what to expect. After some difficulty finding the place the members tucked into full English breakfasts aplenty. The complex has 4 lakes, a match lake carp lake silver lake and a trout lake. We fished the match lake. Most anglers caught carp and a few bream on a variety of methods. This venue was exchanged with the mystery venue due to clash of dates, the mystery venue will go ahead on 14th October. A very difficult day compared to last year. The Carp Just weren't feeding, only tiny roach, rudd and gudgeon were feeding. Conditions were good with a warm wind blowing down the lake towards the car park.

Rob Shearing had a 14-6 Common and Pete Milano had a 14-0 mirror. Peg 36 had top weight, pole and paste in margins. Richard beat Colin to go through to next round of knockout as did Paul Hope beat Rob Smith, Pete beat Gary and Rob Shearing beat Jamie Smith.

Uptons lake was stocked on 19th may with 1500 fish including carp, bream, roach and rudd.

A very windy day with showers. Lakelands is a mixed fishery and the catches reflected this. Carp, bream, Ide, perch roach rudd and even an eel and a trout. pole was the main tactic with either pellet, corn or paste on the hook. But very windy!

Gary Hope won the Knockout defeating Rob Smith in the final. Danny Caught 10 Carp from peg 1 by the shed. Rose did well from the left hand bank with 6 carp from the margins. Rich was the last peg by the pump on the Right bank. No tench or roach were caught despite a westerly wind and warm conditions (16 degrees C)

The water level at Church Lane Lake is now back to normal after the deluge of rain the past 2 weeks and is fishing well with Gary Hope catching 10 carp in 4 hours.
