Useful Links This page is designed to provide useful links to other websites that may be of use or relevance to you. If you represent another Squadron or an organisation that would like to be included on this page please contact the Squadron via email (squadron@steyningaircadets.org.uk) providing details of your website or email address so that we can consider adding a link to you. Air Cadet Organisation The Air Training Corps website can be found at www.aircadets.org. All ATC Squadrons are listed on the website along with a very good overview of the ATC and CCF (RAF). For current cadets, the aeronautical pursuits syllabus training manuals (Air Cadet Publications - ACPs) are available to view and download - it makes it easy to revise at home ! Some of our sister Squadrons are now on the web. All of their web sites are based on this web site and were built by the 1140 Sqn webmaster!
188 (Ipswich) Squadron have been on the web for years and have an excellent website. They have been kind enough to provide a link to our website on their links page and to provide a link to their site is the least we could do in return, www.atc188squadron.org.uk. 188 Squadron is a much larger Squadron compared to 1140, but that's not surprising given that they are in Ipswich ! There are other good websites that are a good source of useful information for staff and cadets alike - www.aircadetonline.com and www.atc-ai.co.uk. For those keen on all aspects of aviation www.aviation-links.co.uk is a good place to start with links to websites all over the world. Expedition and Adventure Training Equipment For many years, Sussex Wing Squadrons have been recommending Peglers of Arundel for all expedition equipment. Whether you are just walking up to Steyning Bowl or tackling Everest, they have everything you'll ever need. The staff all have relevant experience and many of them have completed expeditions in places like the Andes and Pyrennes in recent years. This is a family run business with a number of shops in Arundel. They are open 364 days a year and are our recommendation - www.peglers.co.uk
