Travelling without a car

We encourage guests without cars. We can arrange and pay for foot passenger ferry tickets. Bookings must be confirmed and full payment received at least 3 weeks before the start of your holiday.

There are bus services to Brighstone from Ryde, Newport and Yarmouth.

Wild Horses operate a land rover pick up service for people & equipment. Contact them on 01983 866080 or visit them at Wild Horses. Bag-Tag is a service where visitors travelling by cycle or on foot can have theire luggage transferred to theirdestination. Contact them on 01983 861559 or see bagtagiow.co.uk.

The island is popular with cyclists and has dedicated cycleways - many following the course of disused railway lines, signed routes, miles of bridleways and quiet country lanes as an alternative to busy main roads – see Cyclewight for more information. You are free to store cycles in the Granary’s garage.
