Towns

Benissa

The main road through Benissa is filled with shops along both sides of the street. Away from the main road you can sit by the church in the town square or visit one of the cafés and enjoy a cold drink under the sun.

Calpe

This very Spanish town offers a long, golden beach, shopping, cafés and restaurants as well as a beautiful harbour and a weekly market. Calpe is a good place to enjoy lunch

Javea

Javea is also a good day out and all corners of the town are very different. A pebbled beach and a selection of boutiques and cafes near the harbour, golden sands and palm trees on the Arenal beach and narrow streets and alleyways through the old town. If you fancy a drive, there are also some nice viewpoints looking towards 'Portixol Island' (known to us as 'Custard Island' - its much easier to remember)!
