Games, Games, Games & Some MC360
Thursday 5th October 2006
Again its been another 5 months since my last blog update. I don't really use this one too much anymore, but I will be turning it into a real blog using correct blog code, I will be extending my gamespot blog into it also. I have been mostly working, coming home and working on work, then trying to complete my ultimate gaming todo list, which is a list of games I always wanted to play and finish, so now I am tackling them one by one, or working on MC360 the Xbox 360 Dashboard skin clone I work on for XBMC. The work on MC360 isnt as hard as it was previous to release, but theres still plenty to do and fix with it before I, along with the other team leaders, deam it ready for its final 1.0 release. Once thats complete I shall be moving onto creating the MCX Skin, which looks like it will be mostly code based, so I am not sure how the rest of Team Blackbolt will fit into it, as its going to be 70% graphics and 30% code because its going to contain as little written wording as possible, I will be using icons for everything. I am making it for a few reasons, I need to prove to myself that I can create something utterly original on XBMC and also because I always wanted to make the most easy to use GUI I could ever think of. My last 2 XBMC skins have been an Xbox 1 Dashboard clone and now MC360 is a 360 clone. About time I think. Anyway the things I am most looking forward to now are, Christmas, HDTV, X360, Splinter Cell 4, Rainbow Six Vegas, the new Bond movie and flying amongst the clouds. Untill the site update, peace out.

There's Just No Time..
Monday 8th May 2006
Wow nearly all of my freetime has been spent working on my skin or playing Oblivion, there is nothing else I have done for the last two months and its driving me nuts. I can't wait to finally release the skin so I don't have to work on it all the time. I managed to finish the filming of a massive movie I made in the game 'The Movies' and finally release it, I started making that movie MONTHS ago and only finally finished it yesterday. Its E3 this week which is awesome, so I cant wait to find out what new stuff comes out of that. I have decided to redo the art and the code on my site also when I finish the XBMC skin. I want to modernise it, so I will be bringing alot of Vector art into it and streamlining the code, I can't use PHP on this webspace so I will have to stick with javascript and html but I am looking forward to working on it and also I want to finish Splinter Cell 3, still havent done that, its been over a year now since I started when it was released.

Site Touched Up, ooh err!
Friday 10th February 2006
This is my first blog post for the year that is 2006. Firstly Happy New Year and I hope everyone has an amazing year. I have been going over my site tiny bit by bit to update certain things that we annoying me, I added the address info at the top of every page so you can skip back easier, and so you know where you are in the site. I updated the background image to a single plain with no gradient, this helped alot. I also started to add to the Gallery, which I will continue to do in the coming month and finally hopefully, get my portfolio online! The main work I have been doing at the moment is for the Blackbolt MC360 skin for XBMC, by a team, basically I am heading the art and design side and being project leader and I have some of the most amazing coders on the team turning the skin into not just a skin its like a whole new app for xbox. That should be out Mid-March to early April probably, missing its February release by a month because of the new layouts and animations we have decided to add to every page so the skin is synced alot better. I am looking forward to it more than most people as I am seeing it evolving everyday. I also have started a new venture, White Cell. I will post more about this in future blogs,
Sea Crest Out!

Thursday 29th December 2005
Bloody hell its been a while since I updated this blog, even my site, but hey its about time I did. I have been so busy with other things I have never been able to do anything for my site, but I should soon. I am making a new skin for xbmc called mc60, check it out here. My
Hard Drive blew up so I got a new one, then my graphics card blew up after I put my new Hard Drive in, what brilliant luck! So now its gone back and I cant play games untill it comes back, twatty ohs! I am working on some new form of 3D Realtime rendering which looks really promising and interesting so that should be good when I get my gfx card back. So for now, nanoo nanoo!

New Site Design
Thursday 4th August 2005
I have spent most of my week sorting out my website, infact if I think I have spent like 75% of my time awake doing it! Its nearly done art wise, so now I can concentrate getting the gallery and the portfolio sections all updated. God I am tired!

Battlefield 2 Skydiving
Tuesday 26th July 2005
Bonjour my fellow Gamers and Friends. I have not got much to put up my site this week as I am way too busy playing Battlefield 2. The game is amazing when played properly by everyone, which it sometimes isnt. I have added my stats info to the top of this page so u can see how well I am doing and swoon at how amazing I am at the game! jk of course! I also did a little movie of me doing some extreme skydiving in Battlefield 2, You can see it here. Other than that nothing much has happened this week or in the last two. Only 150 shopping days till christmas....I am clutching at straws here to fill this blog......Xbox 360 is out in November! So anyone generous enough to want to buy me the thing can do as my birthday is November 9th. I might add a music section to the site soon with some clips of music that I created. As soon as I get a decent way of recording it that is! Well for now, enjoy your life, enjoy everyday and don't forget no matter what you wanna do, there is fuck all stopping you doing it other than yourself! :)

Another Funny Game Thing
Tuesday 28th June 2005
I still dont have battlefield 2 :( But who cares because I can now play the demo untill I get the full game and it will make the full game all that more sweet. I am totaly pissed off with working on nights, it sucks massive big balls. This WILL end as soon as I can make it end. If you want to see real people and don't want to sleep while its 30 degrees C outside, then do not EVER do nights. AAHHHHHH, Right rant over. I plan on getting some sort of job using my skills I have with computers, fortunatly I have a large base of skills that I could start to develope more should I fire into that direction for employment. So thats my new thing to do. Also I came across another funny game thing thanks to JaggedIce in IRC. Have fun, apprently if she gets stuck between the balls, you can free her with the mouse by dragging her. OR if you feel evil, thats me, then you can throw her into them or my favourite, throw he downwards so she hurtles towards the balls. I would like to take this oppotunity to say I dont condone any form of violence against girls, even from other girls. Girls are soft fragile amazing things that shouldnt get fucked up. So dont do this in real life. Chow. I can watch it for hours. Use the link on the right hand panel to select the Falling Bubble Girl.

Little Changes & Apple Pie Club returns
Sunday 19th June 2005
I have made some changes to the layout of the site. You can see the most obvious on up top, a new logo type thing and I have also added some new links to the links section. My digital portfolio still remains unfinished. The final coded version is 125mb, so I have to do alot of shrinkage to get it down to about 5-10mb split into many sections. Battlefield 2 gets released this week, I have been playing the demo for a week now and I love it. I cant wait to get online with the community this coming week. I am also going to be rescuing the Apple Pie club for the release of Battlefield 2. matches will be on sundays, which will become known as Apple Pie 2 Sundays! :) Nothing more will be told about the club untill the release. But you can visit the section above for more info as its posted. Cya later everyone, I'm off to play the demo some more!!!

Battlefield 2 Demo
Monday 13th June 2005
Hello there my fellow internet people that use computers and arent thinking about what other people are thinking about why your thinking what you are thinking...yep! Anyway Battlefield 2 has been unleashed on the net geeks in the form of a 500mb demo! Naturally the demo was released 5 mins before I was due in on a night shift and so I didnt get to play it untill I got home the following morning in a really tired state and I still havent had a real go of it yet. Also San Andreas came out on the XBOX and PC, the XBOX Version looks like shit, more jaggie than the PS2 version, I just hope the PC Version is less fucked up. Anyway nothing new to say other than I am not dead yet and I am still happy and stuff so far. New Updates will be added to the site when they are finished. I cant wait for the Photogallery to be finished and also the Portfolio. Anyway keep on trucking my fellow nerdy people, to the people who are cool and hip, go fuck yourselfs!

Site Coding fixed, Now work with IE!! Yey
Tuesday 31st May 2005
Finally after about a month of problems with my site, I have killed one of the biggest pain in the asses with it, the bug with Internet Explorer. The site was made for Firefox in notepad for html and photoshop for the images, but when displayed in IE, it showed big gaps in image tables and lines everywhere that werent in the html code. I tried using PHP to load the site in that way, but after days of learning that I discovered BT Webspace doesnt support PHP, so I had to use JAVA and HTML. To combat the problem of the Internet Explorers sucky bug, I had to totally redo my site in FRONTPAGE!!!! How shit is that, well I did it and the site looked pretty much the same when finished, so now I have the index.html autodetect your browser and take you to either the IE version of my site or the Firefox version of my site. That means that I only have one more bug to sort, the Auto sizing content loading frame. If I could use PHP, everything would be fine, but I can't so I need to create a new java script that loads the content window first, checks its size and then adjusts the iframe on the index to match the size. All this is so I only have 1 scrollbar on the page at any time. Well hopefully I can fix that this week too, but I am doing 5 nights on the run, night shifts!!! Ahhhh I will be dead! lol But seriously if I do die, I would like to leave everything I have to my sisters, apart from my Spider-Man stuff, ben can have all that and Oli can have my guitars. Bobi can have my socks as he seems to enjoy running away with them alot. The most important person in the whole world can have the greatest thing ever, the memory of me! Wehey! Better go before i die...
