Denny scores an impressive hat-trick to give POB the three points against a poor Brooklands Old Boys side.
Bilbao started strongly causing them the Old Boys allsorts of problems by playing the ball on the deck and playing some great football. On 15 minutes Bilbao took the lead, a through ball from Reynolds playing in his preferred central midfield position found Denny and as he ran onto it he screamed "that's the f**king ball!!!!!" and slotted it past the keeper. That was indeed the f**king ball.......nestling in the back of the net, Bilbao 1 Old Boys 0! Bilbao kept the pressure on and it wasn't long before they were 2-0 up, the second goal being very similar with another great through ball by Reynolds finding Denny, no shouting this time but the same result - goal, Bilbao were 2 up and cruising. Bilbao were coasting along until half time when they gave away a penalty in very dodgy circumstances, young right back Kid was penalised for "pushing" when a bloke 3 times the size of him was falling over on top of him. It was scored fairly easily and Bilbao went in leading 2-1.
Bilbao managed to hold on and made it 2 wins on the spin, next up a easy looking home game against annual whipping boys Hersham Royals.
