Profile

The 03-04 season was Chris's first full season for the club and he filled in at every position in the back four, He initially struggled for a starting position but started to really establish himself in the second third of the season with some good form, before a broken wrist ended his season prematurley.

Chris is a very calm and composed centre back who can also operate in the full back berth. His main strengths are his positioning and reading of the game, although he likes to refer to himself as the best ball playing centre back in the league... as I said he doesn't lack confidence. Jonsey's main problem is his lack of fitness, he's carrying a couple of extra pounds which leads to his main problems a real lack of pace and a Spurs like injury proneness. If He gets fully fit he'll be a great player for the club. A two word description of Chris is 'Laurent Blanc'

Highlight of the season was his first goal for the club, a penalty in breif foray as striker in the 13-1 cup demolition of Hersham Royals. Along with Phil, Jonsey is one of the biggest contributors to the changing room banter.
