Grantham Methodist Youth Fellowship are a group of young Christian people who meet together fortnightly on a Sunday evening.
We are aged between 13 to 20.
The group is made up from young people who Worship in Methodist Church's which belong to the Grantham and Vale of Belvoir Methodist Circuit. But for the most of the group Harrowby Lane Methodist Church is their place of Worship. We meet fortnightly at an event called Freedom.
We come together to have fun and to study Gods word, this is hopefully done in a fun and exciting way were every one can take part.
We also have social evenings as well where we play games and Just chill.
Our Mission
As a group we believe that our primary task is to help each other to know Jesus Christ as a personal friend and savior:
By offering Christian based friendship
By coming together in an environment for worship and spiritual development
By giving people the opportunity to develop their gifts in the service of God and His World
Statement of Faith
We believe in one God who made everything.
We believe in Jesus the Son of God, who was born of the Virgin Mary.
We believe Jesus died to save us in his resurrection and rising into heaven to be with God.
We believe that Jesus will come again in power.
We believe in the Power of the Holy Spirit who is part of God the father and his Son Jesus, and that he lives on earth to enable us to live a Godly life.
We believe in personal commitment to Jesus and his forgiveness of sins.
We believe in the resurrection and everlasting life for all believers.
We believe in the unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
All need to be saved.
All May be saved.
All may know themselves saved.
All may be saved to the uttermost.
