Derwent Week

20 - 26 July 2002

It was the first time that we had gone as a group to Derwent it was fantastic and God moved in us all. We were camping and thankfully the weather was quite kind for most of the week. 

These are some of the things that we got up to.

Bible studies every day
In the Cliff Hall Tent will be led by Mike Seaton with an easy interactive style, accessible to all.

Celebrate in the Cliff Hall Tent – A high energy event which was at the leading edge of worship. The teaching here was both biblical and dealt with contemporary issues. This was where we got the the best teaching and I think that most blessing

L.N.E. – The late night worship experience. With praise, Testimony and straight from the shoulder talk.

We had every afternoon off so we went out almost every day for day trips. one of the high lights of the week was a trip  to the Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath  It was funniest and the most scary for some. We had to go in a cable car to get there, some people tried to rock the car to frighten their youth leaders. I wonder who they were !!
