Bambleford is now
owned by Mark Bacon. See the Information pages for more information.
It was a bit of a wrench
saying goodbye to Bambleford, but it's in good hands and I'm looking
forward to seeing what Mark can do with it!

Overview
Bambleford is the classic sleepy GWR
branch line terminus. Of course, like all sleepy branch models, it's
surprisingly busy. So, there are regular autocoach and railcar
passenger departures and occasional 2 car "B" sets. Goods traffic is a
variety of GW and private owner vans and open trucks to the small goods
yard.
The station includes
a bay platform for the railcar or autocoach, a small parcels platform,
a loco shed and coaling stage as well as the usual weighbridge, coal
yard, etc. As trains leave the station they pass over a small stream
and pond and past a cottage before disappearing into the woods.
Bambleford is available
for exhibitions (see Information page).
