The Loknar Class Frigate was an Andorian Design built during the Great
Awakening. The Design was an unusual hybrid as the hull retained the
compactness associated with Andorian ships coupled with the more usual
extended warp nacelle struts. Overall the ship resembled the NX class of 100
years earlier. The class saw action in the Four years war and distinguished
itself many times. A large number of these ships were crewed by Andorians
and formed the basis of the so called 'Blue Fleet'.
