I grew up in the Welsh borders where it was considered that Football was played by P*ffs by most of my PE teachers .Rugby was the beautiful game we were encouraged to eat ,drink and think Rugby all the time, it took a while for an interest in football to come along.

I became interested in football in a big way after Euro '96.

Went to my first match when we moved up to Derbyshire and been following Rams results for about a year, seeing how we got on.

My first match was Notts f*r*st v Derby last year. I went with my f*r*st supporting neighbour (from hell or what!) and a guy I work with .I sat in the Trent End. Thats when I realise I was a Rams fan. It was a strange occasion where I had to put my head in my hands when we scored to hide my true feelings amongst nudges from my mates.

Loved the Rams ever since and regret never having been interested in footy before other world cups.

I also play footy (summer league only) and have since discovered there is nothing P**fy about the game having been kicked to sh*t after scoring my first goal.
