Woodborough Utd 5 - 1 Ashland Rovers 24/04/01

Woodborough looked convincing and dominated the game . A deserved hat-trick from Dan Outram, and well taken goals from Paul Shotton and Alan Harvey made the game safe, though Ashland did score with the last kick of the match from the penalty spot.

Wollaton 0 - 2 Woodborough Utd 21/04/01

Woodborough dominated the game and never looked in trouble though  somehow the ball was staying out of the Wollaton net. Goals from Dan Outram and Andy Smith secured the win.

Woodborough Utd 4 - 2 Old Elizabethans 31/03/01

Woodborough at last put a decent performance together after a lean spell. A solid defence, together with a combative midfield and forward line, combined to keep OE's at bay for most of the match. Goals from Chris Briggs, Paul Shotton,Matt Thompson and Dan Outram sealed the game for the home side.

Old Bemrosians 4 - 4 WUFC 10/03/01

Woodborough never got started in this poor game. All credit to Old Bem's who battled back to level the scores after being 4-2 down. The highlight for the visitors was a cracking goal by Ben Wood who joined Matt Thompson, Chris Bovey and Paul Shotton on the score sheet.

ASC Dayncourt  3 - 1 WUFC    03/03/01

Dayncourt went ahead in the second half, Dan Outram replying soon after for the visitors. The game was tight , but a couple of defensive mistakes cost Woodborough the match.

 Woodborough Utd 1 - 2 Horse&Jockey    24/02/2001

Two good shots left the home keeper without a chance as the visitors battled to a deserved victory. Chris Bovey replied with a late consolation goal for Woodborough.

Bassingfield 2-5 Woodborough Utd     17/02/2001

Woodborough turned around a poor first half performance to win comfortably in the end with goals from Dan Outram (2), Chris Bovey (2) and Paul Shotton.

Woodborough Utd 6 - 1 Beeston OBA        03/02/2001

Woodborough took the lead early on and went into the interval  2-0 up. Beeston came back into the game in the second half and managed to get a goal back. Some good keeping kept the home side in front, and after weathering a bit of a storm, cruised ahead to take the match 6-1. Dan Outram 2, Paul Shotton 1, Craig Rodgers 1, Chris Bovey 1, and Andy Smith  were the scorers.

Notts Trent Uni 1 - 1 Woodborough Utd

Andy Smith scored a belter from close range in the first half, unfortunately in his own net, to put the University side one up. It was early on in the game, and Woodborough fought back strongly having the better first half. Paul Shotton scored a great goal for Woodborough from all of 25 yards to put the sides level in the second half. The Uni were awarded a late penalty which was missed, and the game finished level at one apiece which was probably a fair result.

Woodborough Utd 2 - 0 Wollaton lll        13/01/2001 

From a promising start the home side found it difficult to make a clear chance. Wollaton defended strongly and made a couple of chances themselves. Woodborough took all the points with goals from Paul Shotton and Dan Outram.
