Xander is the Scooby Gang's number 2. Even though he has a tendancy to avoid violence, Xander actually does his bit to support Buffy when most needed!
ANYA
Alexander LaVelle Harris has lived in Sunnydale, California all his life. His best friend growing up was Willow
Rosenberg. Willow was at Xander's sixth birthday when he was menaced by a clown and each used to sleep over
at the others house and remained best friends till this day. He was also best friends with Jesse until he turned into
a vampire and Xander inadvertently staked him. Xander learned of Buffy's secret by overhearing her
and Giles talking about it, and along with Willow, he insisted on helping Buffy in her subsequent adventures.
Little is known about the Harris family. Xander's father supposedly once considered selling his son to some
Armenians and apparently neither parent can cook. Although not unintelligent by any means, despite reffering to himself as "king of the
cretins", Xander has never excelled academically,relying on Willow to tutor
him on many subjects. He finally got the girl when Anya decided he was good
mating material. Looks like a union made in heaven/hell!!

For over a thousand years, the demon Anyanka would grant the wishes of women scorned. She arrived in Sunnydale soon after Cordelia caught Xander cheating with Willow, and took on the persona of a twelfth grader named Anya. Using the power of her necklace, Anyanka granted Cordelia’s wish that Buffy had never come to Sunnydale. However, in this alternate reality, Giles destroyed Anyanka’s necklace and she was forced to remain Anya. Anya found she was attracted to Xander Luckily for her, Xander was finding that he actually liked the ex-demon. Although Anya still doesn't understand the tactics of being human, she's becoming more sensitive and she and Xander are closer than ever. Anya now has a job: Cashier at the "Magic Box"! Anya is very amusing and some of her antics are hilarious but she has become a good member of the Scooby Gang
