Portsmouth Corporation 287 - XTP287L

Leyland "Atlantean" AN68 built 1973

Alexander Dual Door 78 Seat Double-Decker

Owned by: Darren Marshall, Portsmouth

287 has had a very colourful career, having sported many liveries, survived several changes of ownership and is the only surviving bus of its batch. It carried an all-over blue-based livery for some time which commemorated the 40th Anniversary of D-Day in 1984. It has received a great deal of attention to sort out a host of problems and has recently been returned to running order once more.
