Originally delivered as a normal closed top vechicle as no.125. It was converted to open-top in 1955 for use on
Southsea Seafront, it is one of 4 similarly treated,the others being RV 6358, RV 6360 & RV 6368, all of which are
also in preservation. No. 125 was renumbered no.8 in 1958 and was eventually withdrawn in 1971, passing into Portsmouth City Musuems
transport collection in 1972.
In 1984/5 it was restored to working order, and repainted into its original livery, by members of the
local Vintage Transport Association, and is now looked after at CPPTD. In 2000 the engine gave up and has since been stripped down
and rebuilt.
RV6368 is now housed at the Milestones Museum, Basingstoke.
