Leyland "Panther Cub" built 1967

MCW Single-Decker

Owned by: Working Omnibus Museum Project Ltd

This is the sole surviving Portsmouth example of the Leyland Panther Cub., The bodywork on this batch of buses was divided between two body builders: Marshall & Metro Cammell Weymann. Never a common choice of bus, very few Panther Cubs have survived into preservation. Restoration work is yet to begin but will require significant attention to the rear bodywork.
