Broard Street Depot Old Portsmouth

Hants & Sussex 31 - EHV65

Bedford "OB", built 1951

Duple "Mk.IV" 28 seat single-decker

Owned by: Hants & Sussex Bedford Group

This bus spent its working life providing community transport in East Ham before being saved in the early 1970s. No restoration work was undertaken until acquired by its previous owner in 1984. After later moving to CPPTD all the running units and brakes were overhauled, and the bus repainted into the livery of local operator Hants & Sussex, which once operated vehicles of this type.
