Brief description: Surrounded by a large ditch - now in the middle of a housing estate, Crookston Castle is a ruined, irregularly shaped 13th century keep. Once owned by The Stewart Earls of Lennox. Also owned by Mary, Queen of Scot's husband, Henry Stewart.

The castle is now under the management of Historic Scotland
