Well, I'm a regular contributor, so you can't expect me to be unbiased about this, but GW does have a reputation for being the best of the UK titles. Many of the pieces in the gallery here have appeared as projects in its pages.

I can thoroughly recommend Chestnut, both for their actual products (polishes, lacquers, waxes etc.) and for their customer service. Terry Smart is always eager to help with finishing problems and gives sensible advice without trying to sell you the most expensive products in the range.

Supply high-quality tools, especially the Veritas range. They sell through dealers, rather than direct, but their customer service is excellent. Thoroughly recommended.
