Commissioning a piece

Commissioning a piece is exciting, and there is work involved for both of us. Assuming you have an idea about what you want, I will ask you to give me an indication of your tastes and your budget. I may want to see where the piece will sit. I'll do a few sketches, or show you pictures of similar work I have done. There is no charge at this stage, unless I have to travel.

If we agree about what we want to achieve, you may commission some design work. This is chargeable, but you are not committed to manufacture.

When we agree on a design and a price, and you have paid for the design work(!) you may decide to go ahead and commission the piece. There will be a deposit of 25% payable, with the balance on delivery.

You will end up with something you love and cherish for many years, and it will be be exactly and uniquely made just for you.
