D.O.B. 20/08/98       Breeders: Bill & Rita James

Ted, was our first Bullmastiff, we purchased him from a Mr W. James in Oct 98. From that day Ted has made many many friends both at the park or when he comes with me taking our daughter to school, everybody comments on his outgoing temperament being very friendly towards people or small children, even to other dogs he's the same with them all. So far we haven't shown Ted very much, when we bought him it was purely as a pet, even though I have always shown my Mastiffs that didn't matter all we wanted was a sound healthy dog. A dog you could actually be out & about with & not to be weary if somebody came over talking to you, it wouldn't be a problem. I think a lot of you reading this will understand what I mean, I'm not saying that All bullmastiffs are like Ted they are not, but I believe  " temperament" comes from part breeding, & part to do with socialising. That's why  I feel that a litter born in the home environment gets the best possible start in life. Ted from the age of 13 wk. was taken everywhere with us to the shops, I would sit outside while Alison did the shopping ( any excuse for getting out of that one ) Ted had the chance to see lots of people, cars & dogs of all sizes. We also use to go to the market whenever it was on so seeing people, cars, dogs were an every day thing in Ted's life, and now that he's over two years of age we can go anywhere with him without him being freaked out by strange things. I'm sure, looking at the photo's you will be able to see that Ted is very much loved by everyone here
