Freelance Camera Operator
When You Need Another Angle
Whilst Steve Feeney Productions do provide the full production service, we can also provide just the camera operator to other producers who need extra camera support for live events etc.
We can work under the direction of the director or on our own initiative depending on the producer's needs.
We will work with our own camera (Canon XL2) in true wide screen or standard or we can work with any camera supplied by the producer.
Please note that when our own camera is used we do insist on using our own tape stock. Most professionals accept that changing tape brands can be harmful to the camera and reliable operation of our equipment is paramount to us.

What Does It Cost?
We charge by the hour with a minimum of 4 hours which does include travelling time.
Fees are charged at two different rates:
| Using own camera and tape stock | £30 / hour
+ expenses |
| Using camera and tape stock provided by the producer | £25 / hour
+ expenses |
Notes:
- Expenses includes mileage, accommodation (if required) and refreshments.
- No mileage is charged if travelling within Hampshire, UK.
