Even inexpensive digital cameras take some very good pictures these days and it seems a shame to have them stored away on a CD or computer hard drive. You can share them with your friends by printing them or getting them processed in a superstore.

But for greater impact (and a convenient way to store them) why not turn them into a DVD Slide Show.

What Is StillMotion?

StillMotion is a technique that uses video editing methods to pan and zoom still photographs to add motion and interest to the slide show. Watch the demo!

Using StillMotion you can draw attention to the focal point of a subject, you can employ transitions between shots and the timing of picture changes can be made to fit the music.

A certain amount of creativity is needed and not every picture will include movement as the presentation could be a bit over the top.

Each picture is processed individually at least once and, sometimes, three or more times which is why it costs more.

Companies will use StillMotion for presentations, exhibition support material and low cost training videos. A family celebration or holiday DVD slide show utilising StillMotion would also make a great Christmas or birthday present!

We recommend widescreen format for StillMotion presentations if they are intended for viewing on a TV (because one day all TV sets will be widescreen).

Standard Slide Show

Making a standard slide show involves less work and therefore cost less. We take your digital photographs, place them in order, add music and, if more than one subject, we create a menu.

Captions can be placed over pictures if required. Watch the demo!

We recommend standard format for Slide Show presentations because this format more closely matches the shape of a digital photograph and less of the picture will be cropped.

Sound Track

As a professional production house Steve Feeney Productions is not prepared to break copyright. The music used on your presentation will be royalty free taken from a large library of tracks. We'll select music that is appropriate to the subject matter from this library. If the client prefers to use commercially available music we can obtain the necessary licence. The cost of which will depend on the amount of music used.
