FACILITIES
We have 4 x 25 metre bays in Range 1
with permission to shoot at 15 and 10 metres also. Pneumatic target turners are
fixed in Range 1. Range 2 is in use for airgun shooting. We have a
Club Registration Certificate which allows us to sell alcohol (only after
shooting of course!) and our bar stocks soft drinks, crisps and confectionery.
Children are welcome though we do expect youngsters to be under parental
supervision at all times. All helpers, Range Officers, Bar Staff etc. give their
time voluntarily and no-one receives any remuneration from Club funds.

Our MoD Safety Certificate allows us
to shoot firearms, including muzzle-loading pistols up to .455 calibre. In view
of the Government's decision to ban the citizens of England, Scotland and Wales
(but not Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands!) from owning or shooting target handguns, the Club
decided to concentrate on .22 rifles and centre-fire rifles such as the
Winchester under-lever which is available in calibres such as .357, .44 and .45
Long Colt.

Airgun Shooting in Range 2
A formal affiliation agreement with Killingholme Full Bore Club means that we have access to an open air range where members may shoot other more powerful rifles such as .223, .303 and 7.62mm etc.
