Player
Profiles
If you have ever wondered what kind of person becomes a
Caesars player, then read on.
If you want further info on any of the players, then please email me.
These will all be updated as new info becomes available, as
will new players be added.
Jay smith
 |
Jay has been a caesars player for many
years now, coming up through the junior ranks. He's a bit
short and needs a shave, but basically he is alright. He
is also very popular with some of the other players
girlfriends. No names. |
Back
Adam Morley
 |
Adam was a god send to the team. At only
4 ft 6 inches tall, and seven stone, Adam gave the rest
of the team someone to take the piss out of. He started
playing as offensive line, but has moved recently to FB
because of his excellent blocking abilities. |
Back
Guy Kersey
 |
Guy has been with the Caesars since day
1, both as a junior and a senior. His wondefully calm and
graceful playing style at running back has fixed him as a
firm favourite in the hearts of fans and players alike.
Never one to question a refereeing decision, or speak
negatively to the opposition, Guy leads the team by
example. |
Back
Steve Boseley
 |
Well, what can we say about this man.
Like Guy he has been around since day 1 (1985).
Officially listed as the clubs 7th string QB, Steve
normally plays CB. Some players prefer left or right, or
to cover a particular receiver, but Steve prefers to play
on the home sideline side, as it cuts down the distance
he has to run. |
Back
Chris Stensom
 |
Chris 'the panda' Stensom is the clubs
centre. He is fully conversed in the arts of drinking,
and has learned many holding techniques from the guru of
the oline Steve Brittle. Chris' hopes for the future are
to start a game at quarterback. |
Back
Neil Armitage
 |
Neil is one of the few nice guys on the
team. He is so nice that when he plays on defense, he
considers it bad manners to tackle the opposition ball
carrier. |
Back
Adam Burnett
 |
Adam is about 12 years old, but weighs 30
stone. He is about 9ft tall, and plays on the offensive
line. Adam struggled initially as a junior training with
seniors, but now he struggles as a senior playing with
other seniors. |
Back
Chris Nicholas
 |
Chris is unusual in the team, as he is
the only player who no one is quite sure what his last
name is. It could be Nicholas, or Nichols, or Nicholson,
we're not sure, but one thing is for certain, he enjoys
getting dirty in training. |
Back
Steve Brittle
 |
Steve Brittle is without a doubt the
oldest of all the Caesars players. At 52 years of age,
Beef (as he is known, because of his disease), perfected
the technique of holding and getting caught for it. He
has passed this technique on to the rest of the line. An
original Hoods player, Beef can remember the war. |
Back
Andy Carnwell
 |
Well, he turned up to training once... |
Back
Adi Giles
 |
Adi is another one of those players who
you could write for ever about. But i'm not going to.
Suffice to say he has a young child. |
Back
Albert Thompson
 |
Albert was the founder in the mid 90's of
the Albert Thompson Raiders, now known as the Nottingham
Caesars. Albert's religion did not allow him to use
punting as a valid form of play, and so the Caesars found
themselves backed up quite often. Albert is a very nice
man whose brain left him in the mid 80's. |
Back
Sean Chambers
 |
Sean is the first of the bunch who refuse
to turn up until the temperature goes up a bit. We are
looking forward to seeing him when the sun explodes. |
Back
Marcus Riley
 |
Marcus Riley is officially insane. He
likes to be called the cockmaster, and plays like one. He
leads the defense by example, and is loved by everyone,
but not all at once. |
Back
Scott Messom
 |
Scott (see also Madden Challenge) is
another one of the calming influences on the Caesars.
Along with Guy Kersey, these two form the backbone of
what has always been a disciplined team. Scotts calm
temprament and friendly outgoing personality help move
the team in a positive direction. He even runs draws out
of his own endzone. |
Back
Mark Shaw
 |
Mark is another one of the 12 year olds
on the team. He has a note from his mum to say it's
alright for him to play, so that's ok. His playing career
so far would have been better, had he not been hampered
by playing for coach Brittle. |
Back
Zane Gibson
 |
Zanes is unique amongst the Caesars
players, as he is the only one with 2 artificial legs. He
has been a Caesars player back into his junior days, but
like Mark, has been spoiled by playing for Beef. (sorry) |
Back
Gary Stainton
 |
Stan is the man. He is the Caesars. This
is the man that can see pink elephants in the changing
rooms before a game, and then go out and pass for 300
yds, rush for 200yds, and get 10 tackles on the first
drive. Every one loves him, especially Marcus. |
Back
Coach Barry
Boseley
 |
There are only a few things to understand
about coach Boseley: 1. He doesn't like runniung backs.
2. He doesn't like receivers. 3. He doesn't like linemen.
4. He doesn't like linebackers. 5. He doesn't like
defensive backs. |
Money Man - Richard Shaw
 |
This is the man with the money. Our
money. If he has any friends, we haven't met them yet.
Only joking. Or am I? |
