Summary

Will - 23rd Sept 1864: To pay each of my children £10,000; Charles James Sharpe, Harry Albert Sharpe, Frederick Septimus Randolph Sharpe, Sarah Robinson, Maria Lukin, Charlotte Annie Sharpe.  To pay his daughter Mary Southwood £50 a year & the remainder, after payment of legacies and expenses, to be divided in various divisions between the aforementioned children.

Appoints as executors his sons Robert Sharpe and William John Sharpe and his friend Charles Tahourdin of Victoria Street, Westminster, Solicitor. 

Codicil - 15th December 1864: Revokes the legacies given to his daughters, and substitutes them with £2000 each for Sarah Robinson, Maria Lukin and £8000 for Charlotte Annie Sharpe.  Gives his son Robert Sharpe £5000 and his son William John Sharpe £3000.  After payment of all legacies and expenses, £15000 of the residue should be paid to Charles Harry Sharpe and £15000 to Frederick Septimus Sharpe.  Any residue after this payment should be divided equally amongst the children, including Paul Wallace Sharpe and William John
Sharpe, who were not mentioned in the original will.

Admon - 7th August 1871: Robert Sharpe of Courtlands, near East Grinstead, in the County of Sussex, Railway Contractor, died 25th July 1868 at Addleston, Chertsey, Surrey.  Admon granted to William John Sharpe.  Power reserved of making life grant to Robert Sharpe the son, and Charles Tahourdin.
