First is my will and mind that my Funeral Expenses together with all my just Debts be paid out of my Lands and profits, also it is my Will and mind that the remainder of all the profits arising out of all my Lands, for the space of ten Years from Mayday last past, I give and bequeath to bring up my two Sons Charles and Thomas, after the end of the said Term. I also do give and bequeath my Estate now lying at Nabfold in the said County, together with my estate Isherwoods in Harwood and Harwood Meadow in Harwood, in the said County unto my three Sons John Heaton Charles and Thomas share and share alike during John Heton's natural Life, after his decease I do give and bequeath all his Lands above mentioned to my two Sons Charles and Thomas share and share alike to them and their Heirs forever I also do give and bequeath unto my Daughter Margaret Burton my Estate called the old Pit in Harwood in the said County during her natural Life after her decease I do give and bequeath the said old Pit unto my Grandsons Richard and Thomas Burton share and share alike to them and their Heirs forever. I also do give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Rachel Heton my three Houses in Bolton to her and heirs forever. I also do give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Rachel Heton her Grandmothers Chest Box Bible and common prayer Book. I also do give unto my Son John Heton one pair of Looms now in the Hands of Johnathan Hilton together with the little Bed and Beding thereunto belonging. I also do give and bequeath unto my two Sons Charles and Thomas all my Books together with the remainder of all my Household goods to be divided share and share alike when my son Charles comes to twenty one Years of age . Lastly I do hereby appoint James Davenport, Joseph Butler and my wife Ann, Executors of this my Will and Testament, hereby revoke all former Wills by me made. In witneƒs whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Eleventh day of June in the Year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and sixty.
