Photo records can be recorded in LocoTrack in a variety of ways.

If you just want to record that you have photographed a specific sighting of a Loco / DMU / EMU, then you can tick the Photo box on the Overview Form and enter a Hyperlink to the photograph on your PC.  Once this Hyperlink is entered it is unique to the specific sighting / number / haulage record / etc.

If, however, your want to log all of your photos, then this can be done on the Photo Input Forms, in Locomotives, DMU’s and EMU’s.  Photo details can be entered into the following fields;

- Number, (Coach and Set numbers for DMU and EMU) Photo Code, Photo Location, Photo Date, Exposure Details, Photos Picture.

The Photo Picture field is a Hyperlink field, which allows the user to create a path to a specific photograph on your PC.

Once the photo details are entered, they can be viewed on the Photo Summary Forms.  These forms link the users’ data to the History and TOPs data.

The picture Hyperlink field can be found on several Forms, e.g. Overview, Sightings, Haulage, Photos, and each one of these can be linked to a unique photograph file on your PC.
