Oberursel - Nov 26th - 29th 2010

After the success of their trip to Rushmoor's twin town of Meudon, near Paris last year, 5 members of Cactus Brass (see below) are visiting Oberursel in Germany for a weekend in November 2010. Here they will be playing in a concert on the Saturday evening, and at church on sunday morning for Advent weekend.

Previous events

In 2007 Cactus Brass went to Oberursel in Germany, to take part in the Brunnenfest.

In 2008 and 2009 the quintet went to Meudon as representatives of Rushmoor, to entertain the locals. They played in a local old peoples home, and performed alongside Meudon's own group "Jazz O Val". The 2009 trip was primarily to welcome in cyclists participating in a Rushmoor to Meudon bike ride to raise money for local charity "Parity for Disability ".
