Baxterbear is helping Rotary International’s Campaign to Eradicate Polio through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s $200m challenge. £4 from the sale of every Baxterbear goes to the campaign.

Ronnie Munn presented Jen Meenan of Maggie's with a cheque for £2,000 - the result of our Golf AM AM earlier this year (see picture in gallery!

Chris Spicer & Kate Robertson from Eastwood High School updated the club on her experiences at RYLA Camp (see picture in gallery).

George Burt was presented with Honorary membership as he retired from the club (see picture in the gallery).

A great turnout by the club to raise awareness of Rotary in Mearns Week (see picture in gallery).

The visit by the Rotary Club de Saint-Quentin Pastels was a great success and confirmed the twinning arrangement between our two Clubs. Thursday night's club visit was followed by a tour to Troon Marina, Alloway and Culzean Castle on Friday. An informal social gathering on Friday evening didn't go on too late to allow our visitors some Saturday morning time for a Glasgow city centre visit.

Congratulations to Our Lady of the Mission, winners of our 2009 Primary Schools Quiz (see gallery picture).

Our Rotary East Renfrewshire Schools Boys Golf Event on Tuesday 24th March was won by Belmont House with St Ninians second and St Lukes third.

The 2009 AM AM at Whitecraigs Golf Club raised nearly £4,000 with Maggie's Cancer Centres and  a range of local charities the major recipients.

Around 75 people attended the club's 2008 Burns Supper. Organised by Club President, David Stafford, a talented array of speakers, singers and musicians entertained the club in fine style (see picture gallery).
