The MIDLANDS group enables members to meet fellow brewers with all the resulting benefits this brings.
Since 2002, the group has met in numerous locations (see Past Events section of the Diary).
Each local Chairperson organises the venue, which can be their house, local pub or wherever setting the agenda via input from the membership. With an ever changing location, Chairperson, different members attending and subject material, meetings continue to be varied and interesting.
Behind this basic format lies our founding principle of the 3 T’s
enabling us to develop our home brewing skills, meet other brewers, share knowledge and learn through discussion.
What’s the cost? Apart from time to attend our informal meetings (attendance isn’t compulsory!) the financial cost is negligible. We have an ad-hoc collection of £5 per member and over the last 5 years we have had 2 collections.
