Ashby's fixture against Uttoxeter survived the week's weather, and Town made the most of it. Uttoxeter batted first and were always under pressure, and scored just 85. Graeme and Gary starred as they took 4 wickets each.
In reply Ashby made short work of winning, and cruised to victory despite losing two wickets late on. Ashby finished on 86-3, with Graeme top scoring with 34 n.o., and Gary 27, in just 26 overs. And so Ashby return to second in the league, as we enter the last 3 games of the season.
