Cat Homing And Rescue

Skippy & co

I was sent this lovely letter from a CHAR cat adoptive parent and thought that she deserved to be put on our success stories page for saving all these cats and making them happy...a true example to others considering adopting a cat (or three!!!)

Dear Char,

I had already given homes to Sheba(grey and white), Cleo(black long hair and Ayesha(short haired black with one eye).
My house is 'cat proof' as i have cat run at the back of the house(like a mesh conservatory).
Thats how i took ayesha who had lost an eye in a road accident.
None of my cats go out and are quite safe and happy.
I already had 2 other cats from cpl so i was not looking for another, but when i heard of Skippy's injuries I knew my house was perfect for her and i had to offer her a home.
When i saw her wound i cried.
She is very well adjusted now and is quite happy playing and lazing about.
She has learned to climb again despite her missing leg.
So we now have 6 cats in total sharing our home.
It is so rewarding giving homes to rescue cats.
They are so happy when they realise you love them and they have found a home.

I agree it is rewarding..and just think what a family they must make!
