I started using Yahoo Chat about 13 months ago. When I first found out I had colon cancer. Had the surgery and chemo, stage II. Doing well now. Yahoo chat was a lifesaver for me; I met some wonderful people that helped me through some really rough times.

I am divorced, 45, 3 children, Amy is 24, DJ is 21 and Tracey who lives with me is 11.
The Angel that helped me in chat (and we have been friends ever since) is Linda_A99. She has held my hand and in recent times I have - I hope i've been able to help her. It's so strange that you can become friends with someone that lives hundreds of miles away and you have never seen. I would have to say Linda is so special, I don't have the words to describe the friendship that has developed.

Some of the others that are special to me in chat are ONJAY2, Poochen, Pops 1957, Scrub25, PoohBear_Loves_a_man-in_uniform, TOROMEO, CYN_JMS and TRUE.

Thanks to all, see you soon in chat: davechem2000
Oh by the way, I just had my one year check up and no tumors or cancer!
I hope someday I can help just one person the way Linda has helped me. I really have to say that the folks in Yahoo chat are very special and no one can do better.
