Stotfold Mill - Steam Fair & Country Show
Saturday 10th May 2009

The annual Stean Fair & Country show was an opportunity to see showmans engines in a "traditional" fairground settings.
A variety of traction engines and steam rollers were on display around the site.
The motorcycle Wall-of-Death was as impressive as ever, though it was almost as tricky trying to get any "action" shots!
Another impressive display was the latest Saunders lorry lifting their most recently restored traction engine (while it was in steam).
There was lots to see all day, around the site as well as in the display arena. The water mill itself was also very popular but unfortuantely a little too crowded to get any photographs of the working machinery inside...
Firing a steam roller
Assembling one of the large fairground organs
Literally as still as a millpond!
