Dacorum Steam and Country Fayre
Saturday 25th July 2009

This was only the third year of this Steam and Country Fayre, held in aid of The Hospice of St Francis.
A tractor "shuttle" operated between the entrace and main field for those arriving on foot.
There was plenty to see before reaching the main field including military vehicles.
For the adventurous there was a company offering helicoptor flights over the site...
There was a good line up of both full size and miniature traction engines.
One of the events in the main ring was the inflation of a hot air balloon. At 77,000 cubic feet is was described by the commentator as small!
Due to the cross winds it was limited to a short teather flight.
There was an impressive line up of vintage and classic tractors, both in the ring and in a spacious line up at one of the the field.
