Salisbury Plain - November 2001

Only a few weeks after taking possession of my Discovery some friends and I went for a drive around Salisbury Plain. At that time, the only modifications that I'd had time to carry out were to fit a steering guard and larger tyres.

After years of off-roading in leaf sprung Series Land Rovers, driving the Discovery was a revelation. It just felt effortless, and the long drive home again was a lot more comfortable!
