1989 Land Rover Discovery

The Discovery was developed by Land Rover and launched in 1989 to fill the gap in the market between the basic utility Land Rover and the Luxury Range Rover.

This vehicle was the first off the production line and has a three door body with 4 cylinder diesel turbo direct injection engine (200tdi). The market success of this new Land Rover model was followed in 1990 by the introduction of a five door version.
