TSUNAMI - APPEAL

The Foundation has been active collecting donations since hearing of the worst disaster in our history, in organising assistance to the victims. In order to help those who survive whose relatives and property have washed away leaving them destitute the Foundation has organised a Tsunami Relief Fund appeal.

Due to the logistic problems currently we are unable to accept clothes and shoes. Please see below for a list of most essential items.

*Items required include:

• Medical supplies - Surgical items (Cotton wool, Bandages, Plasters, Betadine, Antiseptics and disinfectants , Gention Violet, Gloves, Methyl Salicyate, Intravenous infusion, disposable syringes , Surgical Spirit, Surgical masks, Antibiotics & Pain killers etc.)

• Other drugs - Aluminum/Magnesium Hydroxide 500mg, Chlorpheniramine 2mg , Chlorpheniramine syrup, Diclofenac sodium 50mg, Ibuprofen 200mg, Oral Rehydration Solution, Paracitamol/Acetaminophen 500mg, Salbatamol tabs(2/4 mg) Theophylline(Derphiline)

• Antibiotics - Acyclovir 200mg, Amoxicillin 250/500mg/suspension,Ciprofloxacin 250/500mg, Clo-aci!!in 250/500mg/ suspension, Doxycycline 100mg, Erythromycin 250/500rng/suspansion, Furazolidone 100mg, Metronidazole 200mg

• Chronic Diseases: Atenolol 50mg, Betamethasone inhalers, Captopril 25mg, Enalapril 5mg, Glibenclamide 5mg, Glyceryl trinitrate 500 microgram, Hydrochlorothiazide (HCT) 50 mg, Isosorbite dinitrate 10mg, Metformin - 500mg,Nifedeprin Retard 20mg, Salbutamol inhalers.

• Water purification tablets (large quantity).

• Portable generators & lamps.

• Infant milk food, baby feeding bottles.

• Sanitary Pads.

• Temporary shelter.

• Mosquito nets.
