Before we start on applying make-up, I hope that you have read through the skin care section as cleansing, toning and moisturising your skin is very important to maintain a smooth surface to work on, as well as having a balanced diet, a good daily intake of water and regular exercise.
After all your face is your canvas and your hair is the frame, so look at make-up as a beautiful work of art every time you apply it!
What you
will need, this is for a day make-up:

Blusher
Highlighter and shader
Eye shadows
Eyeliner
Brow liner
Lip liner
Lips stick
A selection of brushes
Small facial sponge for foundation - dampened
Good clean mirror and natural light if possible
Pencil sharpener
MAKE-UP PROCEDURE:
· After cleansing, toning and moisturising your face. It is always advisable to leave your face for 5 minutes after applying moisturiser to allow it to sink into the skin. Take a small amount of corrector. Apply this to the blemished areas or areas that need to be covered. E.g. broken capillaries, vascular areas of the face, papules etc. If you need it.
· With your damp foundation sponge, place some foundation on and apply all over the face, not forgetting to blend it into the hair line also under the chin onto the neck area, also the whole of your mouth. (This will give your lip liner and lipstick a good base to adhere to, also give you a truer colour).
· Get some loose powder and lightly dust all over your face. Not forgetting your eyes and neck area.
· This is the time then if you have any blemishes that are still showing to cover them with a concealer. Carefully dab some on with your concealer brush and blend.
· Now hopefully you will know your face shape, if not go to this section and decided which one you are. As you now have to apply your blusher, highlighter and shader.
· With an eye shadow applicator, take your eye shadow and apply.
· Sharpen your eyeliner and apply this.
· Now with your eyebrow brush shape your eyebrows. Then very lightly pencil in, if needed. This will define them.
· Carefully put your mascara on.
· Now lets go to the mouth area. Apply your lip liner; making sure that it complements your lipstick, although some people prefer it not to.
· With your lip brush apply the lip stick

Should you
wish to have an evening look, you can apply eye shadows that have glitter in
them, also the same with blushers, emphasise the eyes more with liner and
stronger colours, add gloss for the evening to your lips, give the whole face a
quick dusting with bronzing pearls when you have finished.
Add sparkle with some glitter on your cheeks, it is endless, be
bolder for evening!
