The Open Road: There aren't many motorways in Iceland! Just long, twisting roads like this, stretching right round the country. There are few proper roads right in the center of the country because there are so many mountains and the conditions are so treacherous. (They drive on the right hand side of the road in Iceland in case you were wondering!)
